kite runner

These days Im enjoying Khaled Hosseini's book ,kite runner.
I strongly recommend it to you especially if you can find the farsi version.
unfortunately I have the English translation .
The book explains the gradual influence of russia and communism to Afghanistan and how the people lost their every thing and also the difference between last and new generation of Afghanistan.this point becomes prominent when amir says that the gunshot was so scary and strange to the people in comparison to the present children of Afghanistan who assume weapons just like toys.
